About Our Company Double A – Home of the AC Bee’s was founded in 2003 by Anthony and Angie Schreiber. What began as a small husband-and-wife team quickly grew, and within just five short years, Double A became one of the largest contractors in the North Florida area. From the very beginning, our business thrived on customer referrals, and the loyalty of our clients allowed us to expand into multiple marketplaces and bring on exceptional team members who share our values.

Double A – Home of the AC Bee’s began with two newlyweds, fresh out of college, new parents, and carrying a lot of debt. We started our business to create our own path and build the life we dreamed of. I asked our daughter to help us come up with a name that included bees, and “Home of the AC Bee’s” was born. Bees have always symbolized sweetness and care in our work—from the honey jars we give to our technicians, customers, vendors, and family.

The meaning of our bees grew even deeper after I lost my dearest friend to breast cancer. At her funeral, hundreds of bees swarmed her casket, and from that moment on, bees became a symbol of strength, remembrance, and hope for those who have faced cancer. Today, our bees remind us to work with care, honor those we love, and always add a touch of sweetness—#SickenlySweet. While Anthony and I started it all, we’re proud that Double A – Home of the AC Bee’s is now run by a dedicated team who carry on our vision and values every day.
